I've got a big bag of crabs here

Fantastic and wonderful and all those silly ballad words…

~

I wish the Poetry subsection had a "Nonsense" category, or something similar ("Silly," etc). I tend to put those poems in the "Children's" section, but that isn't really correct. I never intend for a child audience; they wouldn't understand the silly references.
What are your thoughts?

~

… also, tangerines.

Hm? Like on The Misadventures of Flap Jack, when Captain Knuckles and Flap Jack were walking down the board walk, looking at vendors, when they pass by a guy who's saying; "Crabs! I've got crabs!" Needless to say, he's trying to sell them, but never actually says "crabs for sale".
:/
I wonder if the kids these days know what he means, considering they're more grown up now, then most of us where back then.

Oh, sorry. I totally forgot to comment about your journal.
What categories DO they have for poetry, save for childrens?

Hah.
I have a feeling their categories were chosen with quite a bit of time and thought, and they probably get a lot of emails with category requests.
I was wondering what everyone's opinion of the most appropriate alternative would be. :)

I really do think that a little category for rambling and whimsical literature. We should have a stake-out.

I'll take the medium-rare.

Haha. Ahaha. Don't ever let me tell that joke again.

I try on my blue shirt.
She told me she liked it.
She wonders what I'll wear.
She knows what she'll wear.
She always wears blue.
So sneakers or flipflops?
Starting to panic.
Remember, she asked you.

I would put silly poems and stories in humor, but that is just me.

The last time I was sentenced to death, I ordered four hyper-vodkas for my breakfast. All a bit of a blur after that... I woke up in bed with both of my executioners. Lovely couple, they stayed in touch! Can't say that about most executioners.
:iconsaturninesweetness:
Ah! Makes sense. Not the most perfect match, but close enough for me.
Thanks. :]
